Large Format Heat Press Rental

This is a self service heat press rental for customers who already know how to press their own items. You must bring your own project materials, pressing supplies, and instructions and arrive fully prepared to complete your work independently.

Age requirement: Everyone attending must be at least 18 years old
Maximum attendance: Two people total

Please read all rental terms before booking. Completing a booking confirms that all rules and policies below have been read, understood, and accepted.

Rental Pricing

One person: $25 per hour
Two people: $35 per hour
Minimum booking: One hour

A second person includes a helper, partner, assistant, or anyone accompanying the person booking the appointment.

The workspace is designed for one person. A two person appointment uses the full workspace and limits my ability to continue working during the rental session.

No more than two people are permitted at any appointment. If more people arrive than were included in the booking, the appointment will be refused.

Available Appointment Times

Monday through Thursday:
9:00 AM to 2:30 PM
6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

Friday and Saturday:
10:00 AM to 9:00 PM

Appointments must be scheduled in advance. Walk ins are not accepted.

Heat Press Size

The large format heat press measures approximately:

31.5 inches by 39.5 inches

It can accommodate oversized transfers, all over shirts, MDF signs, realtor keys, large custom projects, and similar items.

What the Rental Includes

The rental includes access to:

• An air conditioned workspace
• One large format heat press
• One project worktable
• A small assigned area for supplies
• One folding chair when needed

Only the assigned table and supply area may be used.

My personal desk, desk chair, shop supplies, storage areas, tools, equipment, drawers, cabinets, bins, and shelves are not included.

What to Bring

You are responsible for bringing everything required for the project, including:

• Butcher paper
• Parchment paper or ram board
• Pressing pillows, pads, or forms
• Scissors
• Heat tape
• Adhesive spray when needed
• Transfers or prints
• Blank items
• One or two large trash bags
• Any other project specific tools or supplies

Trash bags are required. All trash and project waste must be taken home and disposed of off site.

When using adhesive spray, bring a piece of butcher paper measuring at least 30 inches by 30 inches to protect the floor from overspray.

Adhesive spray may not be applied on the heat press, on an item already positioned on the press, on the bare table, or on any shop surface. I will identify the approved spray area when needed.

Arrive Prepared

Rental time is charged by the hour. To save time and money, arrive ready to begin pressing.

Before arriving, prepare items whenever possible by:

• Cutting transfers
• Precutting butcher or parchment paper
• Loading shirts with ram board or parchment paper
• Organizing project supplies
• Reviewing the required time, temperature, and pressure instructions

Rental time begins five minutes after arrival and continues until all supplies are packed, the workspace is cleaned, and everyone is ready to leave.

Scheduled Time and Additional Time

Schedule enough time to complete the project.

When the scheduled end time is reached, work will pause so I can determine whether additional time is available.

When additional time is available, the appointment may be extended after payment for the extra time. When additional time is unavailable, another appointment must be scheduled.

When the full reserved time is not used, the unused portion will be refunded. Shopify refunds generally take three to four business days to process. A refund confirmation will be provided before departure.

Self Service Rental Only

This is not a class, guided production session, or hands on training appointment.

Basic equipment questions are welcome, but I will not press the items or teach the full pressing process during the rental session.

Each project and finished result remains the customer’s responsibility. I am not responsible for:

• Damaged blanks
• Incorrect temperature
• Incorrect time
• Incorrect pressure
• Transfer problems
• Placement errors
• Peeling
• Scorching
• Color variations
• Pressing mistakes
• Unsuccessful project results

Bring and follow the correct pressing instructions for every material and transfer being used.

Heat Press Settings

Do not adjust the heat press pressure, temperature, timer, or other settings.

Ask me when a setting change is required. I will make the equipment adjustment.

Do not force, alter, move, or modify any part of the heat press.

Workspace Rules

Remain inside the assigned workspace.

The following are not permitted:

• Using my work desk or desk chair
• Roaming through the shop
• Exploring or handling other equipment
• Opening drawers, cabinets, bins, shelves, or storage areas
• Touching products or supplies unrelated to the rental
• Entering the attached private home

I may step away while the project is being completed, but all shop rules remain in effect.

Recording Notice

For safety, security, and equipment protection, the property is monitored by video and audio recording.

Recording begins upon arrival and continues until departure. This includes interior and exterior areas of the property.

Booking an appointment confirms acknowledgment and acceptance of this recording policy.

Property Rules

The shop is attached to a family home in a residential neighborhood. Please respect the property and surrounding homes.

The following are prohibited:

• Hanging around outside before or after an appointment
• Smoking
• Vaping
• Drugs
• Alcohol
• Food inside the shop
• Unauthorized guests
• Children or anyone under 18
• More than two people total
• Parking in the driveway

Street parking is available near the curb by the tree in front of the property.

Drinks are permitted only in spill proof containers and must remain sealed when not being used.

Both shop doors must remain closed.

Unsafe, threatening, intoxicated, disruptive, disrespectful, or inappropriate conduct will end the appointment immediately without a refund. Law enforcement may be contacted when necessary.

Restroom Notice

Restroom access is not available.

The shop is attached to a private home, and entry into the home is not permitted. Please plan ahead before arriving.

Cleanup Policy

The assigned work area must be cleaned before leaving.

Remove and take all:

• Used butcher paper
• Transfer backing
• Scraps
• Packaging
• Trash
• Personal supplies

Rental time continues until the workspace is clean and all belongings have been packed.

Prints

Prints may be available for an additional charge.

Refund Rule

• 1 Person booking: retain $25
• 2 People booking: retain $35
• For a one-hour appointment, no refund is due.
• For longer appointments, refund everything beyond the first hour.

 

Cancellation and Reschedule Policy

Cancellations are allowed, but one hour of the selected rental rate is nonrefundable.

For appointments longer than one hour, any payment beyond the first hour will be refunded after the cancellation is processed. Shopify refunds may take three to four business days to appear.

Same-day reschedules are not available.

Reschedule requests must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM on the day before the appointment. Approved reschedules will be moved to another available date. Refunds are not issued for rescheduled appointments.

Weapons and Safety Policy

Weapons are not permitted inside the shop.

This includes firearms, knives, tasers, or any item intended to be used as a weapon. Weapons must remain at home or secured inside the vehicle.

Threatening, aggressive, unsafe, or inappropriate conduct will end the appointment immediately without a refund. Law enforcement may be contacted when necessary.

Booking Agreement

By booking this rental, the customer confirms that:

• All rental rules and policies have been read and understood
• The correct number of attendees was selected
• No more than two people will attend
• Everyone attending is at least 18 years old
• The customer already knows how to press the project items
• All required supplies will be brought to the appointment
• The customer accepts responsibility for all project results
• Heat press settings will not be adjusted without permission
• Only the assigned workspace will be used
• Video and audio recording is understood and accepted
• Restroom access is unavailable
• All trash and supplies will be removed
• All parking, safety, property, and cleanup rules will be followed
